I came to art through the back door.  After graduating from college with an engineering degree and working in the defense industry for many years, I began to wish for something more.  The answer came in the form of two bouncing baby boys, who, after becoming teenagers, left me again wishing for something more.  I have always loved genealogy, architecture, and art, and I tried to come up with an original and interesting way that I could incorporate all three into my life.  I took a leap and painted my very first tree for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and haven’t stopped since!
